Description
BBR's new D3 exhaust is the latest generation in BBR's legendary D-Section exhaust systems. This design incorporates an air-craft quality stainless steel header that has been tuned specifically to optimize performance and power gains. An all new, lightweight "D" profile muffler is used to drastically reduce weight on all models. BBR's unique "D" muffler also allows for maximum tire clearance and packing volume. A lightweight carbon fiber endcap incorporates a chrome "D3" emblem. The head shield is also carbon fiber and includes drilled "Works Type" washers.
For all applications, the new BBR D3, come as complete systems including header and muffler. A USDA Forest Service approved spark arrester is included. If you need to reduce the dB level, BBR offers an optional Cancel Core Insert, that will keep the neighbors happy.
Every BBR D3 exhaust includes a rubber end plug, for use when washing your bike, as well as a spring puller to ease installation. We've thrown in a bunch of decals, heat shield tape, and put these accessories in a BBR black canvass zipper case.

I think it's the best bang for your buck. Fit great, looks awesome and sounds good. Differently let's the bike breathe.
Fit and finish are excellent! This exhaust performs better than expected and sounds fantastic. It is louder than stock but nothing that is obnoxious. I did also purchase the cancelcore quiet insert, but didn't see a need to use it. I did replace the jets. The pilot is a 38 and the main is a105. I might go to 110 on the main, but for now the bike is running its best ever.
I used this exhaust alongside BBR's 120cc kit on my 2002 XR100R. The factory exhaust is designed for noise reduction and is very restrictive. This thing lets the bike breathe and has a deep, throaty roar. We ended up putting the same engine treatment on my girlfriend's CRF100F (same bike, newer model), but she opted for an FMF Power Core exhaust - the difference was immediately noticeable. The BBR D3 was easier to install, sounds better, and makes more power.
