Hi! The spring is much stiffer than the original one, this is effective for people of 250lbs and avoids hitting the bottom with this one and does the job very well, on the other hand the original shock absorber remains the same so it can have a rebound effect even when it is new, this is suitable for small budgets, for a really pleasant effect I suggest buying a shock absorber already complete with the higher quality spring, it is more expensive but the difference is incredible thank you

I purchased this xr80-95 cc big bore kit to save a 1986 XR. Lots of life left in the bike. I was sceptical of fitment because of the very broad fitment years. But everything worked as it should. Fit and finish were perfect. Kit worked very well after getting the carb and opening up the air box with the UNI air box vents.

I bought the jets in combination with xr80 big bore kit and UNI 1 inch air box filter inserts knowing I would need to reset the carb. I used 4 of the vents to open up the air box. Jets were as described and did the trick after some time tuning. DONT FORGET TO JET. Make sure you get all the performance you are looking for. Tuning is key.
